A specialist marketing, public relations, and political communications consultancy has unveiled the most comprehensive map of the caretech sector to date, featuring 70 providers and launching a new searchable CareTech Index profiling the firms and products shaping the future of adult social care.
Produced by Bridgehead Communications, which specialises in the health and social care sectors, the 2026 CareTech Map builds on the first edition published in 2024 and offers the clearest snapshot to date of the technology providers serving adult social care.

Alongside the map, Bridgehead has also launched the CareTech Index, offering a more detailed and searchable directory of the organisations featured, allowing users to explore individual company profiles, solution categories and product capabilities in greater depth.

The new map charts organisations operating across a wide range of functions, including care and nursing home management, supported living and home care management, screening, monitoring and telecare, compliance and auditing, care matching, family carer support, and patient communication platforms.
The 2026 edition also reflects the increasingly international nature of CareTech innovation, with providers featured from the UK, mainland Europe, North America and beyond, underscoring the global momentum behind digital transformation in adult social care.
Together, the map and index are designed to help providers, commissioners, policymakers and investors better understand the growing digital infrastructure underpinning modern social care.
Bridgehead’s advisory board includes Damian Green, former Deputy Prime Minister and a long-standing advocate of adult social care reform, and Dr Sheel Mehta, who provides clinical insight and strategic guidance across the firm’s health and social care work.
The CareTech Map and CareTech Index form part of the agency’s wider work to spotlight the ideas, businesses and technologies reshaping adult social care. Both resources can be accessed free of charge on the Bridgehead Communications website.
Commenting on the launch, William Walter, Managing Director of Bridgehead Communications, said:
“The CareTech sector is growing fast, but it remains fragmented and difficult to navigate. Our 2026 CareTech Map and new CareTech Index are designed to change that.
“As a specialist communications agency focused on the health and social care sectors, we wanted to create a resource that does more than simply showcase logos. We wanted to provide a clearer picture of the companies, categories and technologies shaping adult social care.
“From care management and compliance to telecare, family carer support and patient communication, innovation is becoming more important as pressure grows on care systems in the UK and across the developed world. We hope these resources will help providers, policymakers and investors better understand the market and the solutions emerging within it.”
