Jayne Connery, Founder and Director of the not-for-profit organisation Care Campaign for the Vulnerable (CCFTV), has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director (NED) at Care Protect Ltd, a leading provider of consent-led, independent safety monitoring in care settings.
Jayne, widely recognised for her tireless advocacy in championing safety, transparency, and dignity in care—particularly for people living with dementia—will bring over 12 years of hands-on experience supporting families, carers, and providers through some of the most complex and emotive cases in the sector.
“As the Director of a not-for-profit that champions family-led safety and transparency in care, I see this role as an opportunity to bring an independent voice into a space where ethical, choice-led safety monitoring is vital. My work at Care Campaign for the Vulnerable continues without change, and remains my core focus.”
In her non-executive capacity, Jayne will provide independent oversight, strategic guidance, and sector insight, helping to ensure Care Protect continues to operate with the highest standards of integrity, innovation, and accountability.
This appointment represents a meaningful alignment between two organisations with shared values: a commitment to safe, dignified, and person-centred care, and a belief in the importance of consent-led monitoring technologies to both protect vulnerable people and support the dedicated staff who care for them.
Jayne added:
“This is not about stepping away from advocacy – far from it. It’s about stepping further into the conversation. I’m proud to align with Care Protect, who understand that ethical safety monitoring is not about surveillance, but about safeguarding, transparency, and restoring trust in care. That is the very mission I’ve spent over a decade championing’
