Care Campaign for the Vulnerable (CCFTV) is pleased to announce a new supporting partnership with Symphony Sound, reflecting a shared commitment to improving communication, inclusion and wellbeing for older people living in care and retirement settings.

As a national organisation,  supporting families across the UK, CCFTV regularly hears concerns linked to hearing difficulties and communication barriers within care environments. For many older people, particularly those living with dementia or cognitive decline, difficulties with hearing and communication can significantly affect confidence, engagement, emotional wellbeing and overall quality of life.

The partnership between CCFTV and Symphony Sound aims to encourage greater awareness around the importance of accessible communication and supportive listening environments within social care.

Jayne Connery, Founder and Director  of Care Campaign for the Vulnerable, said:

“Through our work supporting families and engaging with care providers nationwide, we understand how important communication is to the wellbeing and dignity of older people living in care settings.

Hearing difficulties can often go unnoticed or be underestimated, yet they can contribute to isolation, anxiety and frustration, particularly for those living with dementia.

Care Campaign for the Vulnerable is delighted to welcome Symphony Sound as a supporting partner. We believe partnerships with organisations that genuinely want to improve the lived experience of vulnerable people are incredibly important as the sector continues to evolve and strive for better outcomes.”

Pritesh Nathwani, Managing Director of Symphony Sound, said:

“At Symphony Sound, we are committed to improving communication, accessibility, dignity and inclusion within care and retirement settings. Through specialist acoustic and hearing support technology, we help create safer and more inclusive environments for residents, families, visitors and care teams, particularly supporting those living with hearing loss, dementia, cognitive decline or sensory challenges.

Working collaboratively with care providers and sector partners, our focus is on helping organisations enhance day-to-day wellbeing, reduce social isolation and improve engagement through clearer communication and better listening environments. Alongside innovative technology, we provide training, guidance and ongoing support to help embed accessibility and inclusivity into everyday care practice.

We are really looking forward to the journey ahead with Care Campaign for the Vulnerable and working together to support positive change across the sector.”

CCFTV continues to work alongside organisations, care providers and sector partners that share its ethos of transparency, dignity, safety and person-centred care.
