Care Campaign for the Vulnerable (CCFTV) was delighted to attend a thought-provoking evening on Thursday 30th October at the stunning Loveday & Co Belgravia, focusing on digital transformation, AI, and business improvement across the care sector.
Hosted by CCFTV’s partner Abeula Technology, CEO Rowan Adeyemi-Adams, the event brought together care professionals, technology innovators, to explore how digital transformation can enhance outcomes for residents, empower care teams, and support sustainable, future-focused change within care services.
The discussions featured insightful contributions from Aaron White, Assistant Director of Corporate Services and Sustainability at Oakland Care, and Paul Newman MBE, Governor at Milton Keynes University Hospital – underscored how technology, sustainability, and collaboration between health and social care can collectively shape a safer, more efficient, and compassionate future for care.
Aaron White’s reflections on integrating innovation with environmental responsibility highlighted the growing importance of sustainability within care, while Paul Newman MBE shared valuable insights from the healthcare perspective, reinforcing the need for joined-up thinking across both sectors.
Throughout the evening, the focus remained on what care may look like in the next five years and how AI, when implemented with transparency and compassion, can improve safety, efficiency, and trust. Jayne Connery Director of CCFTV said:
“Events like this highlight how far the care sector has come in embracing innovation. What stood out most was the shared understanding that technology in care must always be driven by compassion and purpose. It’s about enhancing safety, not replacing human connection. CCFTV is proud to be part of this vital conversation as we look towards a more transparent and inclusive future for care.”
CCFTV continues to champion choice-led, consent-based technology in care settings, recognising that when digital tools are introduced collaboratively and ethically, they can drive meaningful change and improve outcomes for residents and providing reassurance for families and staff alike.
We extend our sincere thanks to Rowan Adeyemi-Adams for the kind invitation and for joining CCFTV in leading the way in digital transformation, and to all the attendees for their invaluable contributions to the evening’s forward-thinking discussion.
