Alderbrook Care Home officially opened its doors earlier this month after welcoming its first resident into Silver Lodge, the first phase of the multi-unit care facility which will offer critical complex care for adults across West Yorkshire.

Photographs of the luxury setting have now been released – offering a first glimpse inside the care home – showcasing everything that Alderbrook has to offer.

The Silver Lodge unit will provide 40 en-suite bedrooms with a total occupancy of 160 en-suite bedrooms available throughout 2024. Quality furnishings and equipment have been prioritised throughout the setting, including air mattresses starting at 30 kg to cater for smaller, more frail residents.

Relaxing living rooms and beautiful dining spaces have been created to foster connection and community for residents, and will become the communal areas for activities such as chair yoga, bingo, jigsaw puzzles and karaoke.

The interior of the entire home has been styled to feel modern, contemporary and inviting. Airy spaces that flood in natural light intend to help regulate mood giving access to secure landscaped gardens that encourage time in nature. The colour palette throughout the interior speaks to the great outdoors with soft hues of grey, blue, muted reds and green – creating a sense of calm to lift the spirits of staff, residents and visitors.
