Newcross Healthcare Solutions, one of the UK’s largest technology enabled care providers, today launches a live in care service for people who require support and stability living in their homes. With a personalised, dedicated matching service team, specific care requirements can be tailored to individual needs.  The new live in care service is available from December 2023.  

Care Quality Commission, Care Inspectorate Scotland and Care Inspectorate Wales registered Newcross Healthcare, has a workforce of over 165,000 registered healthcare workers providing fully trained and vetted staff into multiple care settings including care and residential homes, the community, care in the home – including complex care – , the NHS, and now, for the first time, Newcross is providing dedicated Live in Care support. 

Newcross’ Live in Care matching process enables those looking for live in care to find their perfect carer. Following the initial match, a face to face assessment takes place whereby our Care Associate discusses individual requirements to better understand what tailored support is required.  

After 24 hours of the face to face meeting Newcross will discuss any decisions made and begin planning the care required. All necessary risk assessments will be undertaken and introductions made to the care giver. 

Care can be in place within 48 hours following the initial introduction to the chosen carer. Throughout the entire process and beyond, Newcross will provide access to a dedicated 24/7 support line, addressing any concerns or challenges that may arise.​ Care placements start from a minimum of one week, and can extend to however long support is needed. To ensure consistency of care and trust between care giver and care receiver, the same carer will be available for two weeks, months or even longer. When the carer is on a break, Newcross will hand select an alternative carer until the time their regular carer returns.
