Rangeford Villages celebrated the official opening of Homewood Grove, one of their newest later living developments for the over 60’s in Chertsey, Surrey.  The exclusive event saw reservists, prospective buyers, the local community and representatives from Rangeford Villages come together to celebrate the milestone. The Mayor of Runnymede was in attendance to cut the ribbon, formally marking the opening of the village.

Guests were extended an invitation to attend the special event on 15th May, which aimed to showcase everything Homewood Grove has to offer; high specification homes, spectacular amenities and a social lifestyle in a desirable Surrey location. Tours were on offer of the beautiful show apartments and the brand-new Pavilion, home to the state-of-the-art facilities. Delicious canapes were on offer throughout supplied by the on-site Oak and Honey restaurant and 1920s inspired music.

The pinnacle of the event was the ribbon cutting ceremony to signify the opening of Homewood Grove, led by the Mayor of Runnymede, Councillor Shannon Saise-Marshall. Commenting on the event, Councillor Shannon Saise-Marshall said: “It fills me with immense pride to witness this transformative project come to fruition. Retirement is a new chapter in life. Homewood Grove celebrates this, providing a safe haven where memories are made and comfortable and dignified homes for our senior citizens here in Runnymede.”

Howard Nankivell CEO at Rangeford Villages commented: “Today marks a very special milestone for Homewood Grove. Not only is it great to see so many people coming together to celebrate the village’s official opening, but it’s also the first opportunity for our reservists, prospective buyers and members of the local community to see the state-of-the-art facilities on offer here. It’s been great to see everyone looking around the Showhomes, Pavilion, Revive Spa, and Oak and Honey Restaurant.

“The lifestyle on offer at Homewood Grove is unmatched. Residents can feel supported whilst maintaining their independence.  The high-quality homes and impressive facilities mean residents have everything they need on their doorstep, we’re looking forward to watching this community flourish.

“We are already receiving lots of sales enquiries and would encourage those interested to arrange a visit to find out about the extensive range of properties, amenities and services available at this stunning contemporary community.”
