The initiative has been designed to allow care homes to pick and choose from services such as food management, allergen compliance, chef recruitment and food presentation, without having to outsource the whole offering.

Participating businesses will receive bespoke training and a support programme for residents and catering staff.

Kitchen management, for example, will include tutorials on health and safety and risk assessments, while people management will feature staff cover and manager mentoring.

A money management programme will also provide sessions on budgeting menus and equipment supplies.

Signature Dining was founded by Owner Director Paul Robottom in 2016 and offers contract catering solutions for the senior living and care sectors in the UK.
